Eddie and Patricia first met in 1973 in Wilmington, North Carolina while employed at the Singer Corporation.  They both were working on refrigerators before working on their amazing love! After a few encounters and mentions through mutual accountancies, Eddie and Pat began to date.  Work was important but during this time there were times of missed work and meetings at the Pancake House.  (You can still find them today eating together at the local diners.)  After a few years Eddie was accepted into the Air Force. Patricia did miss him while he was away but Eddie would always communicate and return to visit Pat.  When Eddie was stationed in Fairfield, CA at Travis Air Force he asked Pat to join him in California.  Patricia came in 1975 and that is when Eddie and Pat began creating a life together.  In 1977 Eddie and Patricia were married.  In 1979 Edwin was born and soon after, in 1981, Amber and Kimberly were born.  They are beautiful grandparents as well to their 4 year old grandson Zakai.  35 years later Eddie and Patricia Clayton blessed union continues to be celebrated!
